RMA-560

RMA-560 Rotary Atomizer

The Ransburg RMA-560 is a robot mounted applicator for spraying solvent or water materials.

Overview:

The RMA-560 is an automatic robot mounted rotary atomizer capable of spraying solvent borne coatings electrostatically or non-electrostatically. It incorporates the latest in high speed spindle technology, bell cup and shape air design to provide the best in atomization and pattern control. The bell cups are designed for durability and all wetted components are designed to offer the maximum in wear and chemical resistance. The RMA-560 incorporates an integrated turbine allowing speeds up to 100,000 rpm, dependent on the coating flowrate. The robot applicator is available in single or dual purge technology.

The RMA-560™s heavy duty design insures excellent service life even when subjected to the quick motions of robotic applications. Components are constructed of durable engineered resins for optimum mechanical strength and solvent resistance. The bells aerodynamic shape and light weight package allows better maneuverability into tight spaces and provides ease of cleaning of the external surfaces. The easily removable front and rear shrouds, turbine assembly and the internally mounted fluid valves, make off-line maintenance more efficient and economical. An optional split shroud is available for easy access to internal components while still mounted on the robot. The new construction also reduces downtime for maintenance, utilizing the quick disconnect feature an atomizer can be changed in less than two minutes.
